All requests should
originate from the incident
commander through the
community’s fire dispatcher. |

To request a Strike Team
from East 1 or East 2,
contact the Northbridge Fire
Department at:

3. |
When requesting a Strike
Team all pertinent
information should be given:

A. |
What type of
Strike Team is
needed,
(Structural,
Brush, Tanker,
or Disaster). |

|
B. |
Location of
incident and
directions if
apparatus is to
go to the scene. |
| |
|
|
C. |
Location and
directions to
staging or
coverage areas
if this is
needed. |
| |
|
|
D.
|
Radio
frequencies to
be used unless
already
pre-determined. |
| |
|
|
E.
|
Call back
numbers for the
community
requesting aid.
These will be
needed to verify
information once
the strike team
has been
activated. |

|
F. |
Any other
information that
the incident
commander
determines is
neccessary. |
| |
|
|
|
4. |
Once the Strike Team
members have been notified,
the responding units shall
contact either Northbridge
or Southbridge to verify
they are responding and that
they have the proper
information. If the
Northbridge or Southbridge
dispatchers do not hear from
an activated community
within a specified time,
they will attempt to contact
that community to see if
there is a problem
responding. |

Once the strike team been
has been released by the
incident commander, the
activating dispatcher
location (Northbridge or
Southbridge) will be
notified as to the Strike
Teams availability. |
