Strike Team Commanders Responding

• Sign on the air with appropriate Fire District 7 Control Point (Southbridge Fire or Northbridge Fire) on Fire D7 ORANGE channel

• Deputy Commander will sign on the air with the Strike Team Commander

• Strike Team apparatus will sign on the air with Strike Team Commander

• Strike Team Commander will sign off at the staging area with the Fire District Control Point (Southbridge or Northbridge)

• Strike Team commander will get appropriate orders
  • The Staging Manager will assign a fire-ground channel
  • The Strike Team resources will be assigned by Staging or the Incident Commander

• The Incident Dispatch Team will assist with developing a Communications Plan
  • The Worcester Regional IDT will work to develop a ICS-205l
  • The primary goal is to relieve some of the congestion from the towns primary channel
  • The Fire District 7 RED and BLUE in VHF are available for operations
  • The IDT can facilitate patching to increase interoperability for Low band and UHF band users at the scene

• The Strike Team units shall report to the Strike Team Commander, or Alternate Commander, for a unit & personnel accountability check, BEFORE being assigned to the fireground
• UNLESS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED BY THE INCIDENT COMMANDER TO PROCEED DIRECTLY TO THE FIRE SCENE FOR ASSIGN
